How to redeem a promo code or a voucher?

There are two ways that we offer free credit for employers to use when hiring freelancer. The first is through a voucher; a voucher is a code that can be redeemed anytime just by logging into your account and following the steps below, and the credit will remain in your account forever until you’re ready to use it when funding a milestone or paying a freelancer.

Here’s how you can redeem a voucher:

1. Log into http://ureed.com
2. Click on the profile name on the top right of the page, after which a drop-down menu will appear
3. Choose "settings & privacy" from the drop-down menu
4. Click "Payment Settings" on the left-side column that appears
5. Under "Balance," click "Have a promo code?"
6. Copy and paste the promo code

The second form of free credit is through a promo code. Promo codes are to be used within a project only. After posting a project and assigning the freelancer milestones, you will be able to apply your discount by adding the promo code on a specific milestone and indicating the amount you want to use from the promo code. This also allows you to divide the credit upon several milestones if you wish.

Here’s how to redeem a promo code:

1. Log into http://ureed.com
2. Click on “Post a new project” on the top right corner of your dashboard
3. Fill out all the details in order to create the project
4. Invite freelancers to pitch or review the pitches you’ve received
5. Once you find a freelancer you like, click “Hire freelancer”
6. Fill out the details of the offer and send offer
7. Once the freelancer accepts the offer, click “Projects” on the top menu
8. Go to the “My contracts” tab
9. Select the project you’re working on
   1. Fixed contracts
      1. Click “+ Add milestone” in the “Milestones & Payment” tab
      2. Under “Add a promo code”, type the promo code and click apply
   2. Hourly contracts
      1. After one week from the start date of the project, access the freelancer's timelogs through the “Timesheets & payments” tab
      2. If you approve, click the green "Approve week" button
      3. Under “Add a promo code”, type the promo code and click apply
      4. Complete the transaction by clicking "Pay week"

*Please note that while promo codes can be divided upon several milestones, they have a maximum amount that is listed with the promo code details.
